The current price status
PAO PAO is scheduled to enter Steam Early Access on October 26, 2026. On the day before, we checked the official Steam store page for a purchasable price. No verified launch price had been captured at that point. The page instead showed the game as coming soon.
That is why this page does not show a number. Prices on Steam vary by region and currency, and they only become final when a game goes on sale. We will add the real price after checking the store following launch. That update will name the region it was checked in.
What the developer said about pricing
On October 24, 2026, a player asked about the price on the official Steam forum. A developer named Alph replied, promising affordable pricing and a launch discount. The reply did not include a dollar amount or a discount percentage.
That makes the discount a stated plan rather than a confirmed figure. It is still the most direct official comment on price before launch. Watch the store page on launch day to see how it is applied. Discounts on Steam usually show the original and reduced price side by side.
Why we ignore guessed prices
In the same forum thread, another participant suggested possible dollar amounts. Those numbers are speculation from a player, not information from the developer. Putting them in a price table would present a guess as fact.
You may see similar estimates on other sites or in videos. Unless a price comes from the Steam store or an official announcement, treat it as unconfirmed. This page will never convert a guess into a regional price list. Accuracy matters more than having a number to show.
The demo is free
The free part of PAO PAO is the demo. The publisher, Dreland Enterprises, explicitly describes the demo as free to play. It supports solo play or online co-op for up to four players.
The word free applies to the demo only. The full Early Access game is a separate purchase on Steam, not a free-to-play title. Our demo guide explains how to download it and what to expect. It is the easiest way to judge the game before spending money.
Will the price change after Early Access?
The Steam store's Early Access FAQ addresses this question. It says no price change is planned when the game leaves Early Access. That is a statement of the developer's current plan.
A plan is not a number or a guarantee. Developers can revise their plans during development. Still, it suggests that buying during Early Access is not expected to cost more than buying later. We will note any change to that plan if one is announced.
Where to check the real price
The Steam store page is the authoritative place to find the eventual price. It will show the amount in your local currency and any launch discount. Regional prices can differ, so a figure quoted for one country may not match yours.
Wishlisting the game lets Steam notify you when it releases or goes on sale. The official application number is 3024130, which helps you avoid similarly named games. Our Steam guide covers the listing in more detail. It also lists the published PC requirements.
Try before you buy
Because the price is not yet public, the demo is a sensible first step. It lets you test the restaurant, fishing, farming and co-op without spending anything. The current prerelease demo opened on September 14, 2026.
The September 18, 2026 patch notes also state that demo saves can transfer to the full version. That means time spent in the demo may not be wasted if you buy later. The demo save transfer guide explains what is confirmed. The exact import steps had not been tested before launch.
Does a playthrough video show the price?
Some players look for price clues in gameplay videos. We reviewed a recent demo session by Becktoriiia from October 22, 2026. It is a demo playthrough, not a paid-game checkout or price announcement.
Creator access to the demo or a review key tells you nothing about the retail price. The official release date trailer from September 2026 also contained no substantiated price. Stick to the store page for anything about cost. Videos are great for gameplay, not for prices.
What the purchase includes
The Steam listing describes a cozy restaurant and life simulation game. You run your own eatery, gather supplies, fish, farm and explore a seaside town. You can play alone or in online co-op with up to four players in total.
The listing supports 15 interface and subtitle languages on Windows PC. That is what the purchase covers at the start of Early Access. More content may arrive through updates, as is typical for Early Access games. What arrives and when has not been announced.
Check your PC before buying
Before paying, make sure your computer meets the published requirements. The Steam page lists a minimum of Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, an Intel i3-10100, 4 GB of RAM and a GTX 1050. The recommended setup lists an i5-12400, 8 GB of RAM and an RTX 3060.
These are listed requirements, not measured performance results. Running the free demo first is the most practical way to test your own hardware. If the demo runs well, you have a good sign before spending money.
No free codes either
Some players hope to get the game or items through codes. No active reward codes or official redemption system were found in the sources checked on October 25, 2026. Lobby codes exist, but they are for joining multiplayer sessions.
Be careful with any site offering free keys or codes for PAO PAO. Official offers would come through the developer's or publisher's own channels. Our codes guide explains the current status. It is updated whenever official news appears.
What is not confirmed
Several price details remain unknown before launch. There are no verified prices in US dollars, euros or pounds, no confirmed discount rate and no sale end date. Regional conversions have not been published either. Any table claiming them is guesswork.
We will replace this status with the actual Steam price after checking the appropriate region. The update will carry the date it was checked. Until then, the honest answer is that the launch price has not been announced. Check back after October 26, 2026 for the update.
